C.H.A.N.G.E co-op classes
Our Co-op meets on Fridays. The classes listed below by age group represent a "track" for that group. Beginning at 9:00am, all students are expected to participate in the classes appropriate to their age throughout the morning. There is also gym time during the morning for each age group. Lunch: optional from 12-1pm, bring your own lunch, & stay for fellowship & clean-up.
2025 FALL Class Descriptions
ASSEMBLY
Our day starts off with 9am prayer, followed by the pledge of allegiance, worship songs, devotional, and announcements. Children worship together and recite verses for memorization.
0-3 NURSERY
While you're teaching or helping in a class, your little ones will be cared for in a nurturing environment. Toys will be provided as well as other activities to keep them busy. There will be 2 or more moms at all times in the nursery.
4-5 YEAR OLDS
Pre-K/K
Learning through fun and songs! Working on letter recognition and phonetics. Beginner sight words, writing their own names, learning some American Sign Language, and making fun crafts. Gym, sensory, and story time.

6-7 YEAR OLDS
Countries of the World
This is a thematic class which uses a different country each week to teach various aspects of social studies and arts or crafts. Please let Victoria know if your child has a food allergy (we enjoy tasty samplings during story time).

Ecosystems
In this class we will learn about ecosystems. Discussing and identifying God’s creation such as; animals, insects, plants, and water sources, as well as their relationships. We will undertake hands-on activities the children will enjoy!

Called by God
In this class we will go through the main faces we see highlighted throughout the Old Testament of the Bible, ordinary people “called by God” to do the extraordinary! Our goal: 1) Bring the Bible to life through the stories of those who lived it and 2) learn how to apply the fundamental lessons recorded throughout scripture in our own lives. We are all fearfully and wonderfully made, let’s see how God is calling you!

8-9 YEAR OLDS
Countries of the World
Similar to the class of same name for younger students. Children will learn more geography and demographics for each country and also complete an art project or craft. Please let Victoria know if your child has a food allergy.

In this Spanish class children will learn through singing and games. Things such as common words and phrases, basic grammar structure, and how to construct basic sentences will be reinforced. It will also include a brief introduction to Spanish speaking countries and their cultures.

Blurting Cursive
Learn cursive with rhyme! We will begin with the basics and rhyme our way through the semester. We will then move on to writing notes to each other, to parents, for celebrations, and holidays. Then wrap up each class with a fun cursive game.

Students will explore the creative process and design fundamentals, drawing inspiration from various artists as they develop artistic skills and create a collection of works using a variety of media.

Topographical Cartography
This semester we will be doing a deeper dive into the world of geography as we trace and label our geological features! These features can include mountains, volcanoes, beaches, canyons, oceans, rivers, and lakes, among other things. One map at a time, we will take a closer look at our world, past its international boundaries, into its greater design.

Kids Turn in the Kitchen
Let’s get hands on while we learn life skills, math, science, and more while cooking and making related projects in the kitchen! Kids will be creating simple meals while working on basic knife skills, using various ingredients, etc. All while having fun and gaining confidence so they can re-create the recipes on their own at home for the whole family to enjoy!
