C.H.A.N.G.E co-op classes
Our Co-op meets on Fridays. The classes listed below by age group represent a "track" for that group. Beginning at 9:00am, all students are expected to participate in the classes appropriate to their age throughout the morning. There is also gym time during the morning for each age group. Lunch: optional from 12-1pm, bring your own lunch, & stay for fellowship & clean-up.

spring Semester: Class Descriptions
ASSEMBLY
Our day starts off with 9am prayer, followed by the pledge of allegiance, worship songs, devotional, and announcements. Children worship together and recite verses for memorization. For writing able students, please bring a journal to write the verse of the day and draw a picture to help guard God's word in their hearts. Children will also have the opportunity to pray with the assembly leader.
0-3 NURSERY
While you're teaching or helping in a class, your little ones will be cared for in a nurturing environment. Toys will be provided as well as other activities to keep them busy. There will be 2 or more moms at all times in the nursery.
4-5 YEAR OLDS
PreK/K
Kids will learn through play and practice making friends. Letter of the week, circle time, crafts, gym, intro to ASL, sensory play, table time and free play. Memorizing easy Bible verses and show and tell 1x per month. (will remind via email last co-op day of the month).

6-7 YEAR OLDS
Fun with sight words
"What's that word?” In this class we will tackle high frequency words that will help your student to read and comprehend better through fun interactive games.

Marine Biology
Our oceans have many wonderful things to offer! Children will be able to understand the characteristics of the oceans, marine life, coral reefs, fish, sharks and much more. Included are many activities and hands on experiments that the children will love.

A Trip Around the World
Each week will send us to a different country to learn about customs and cultures. There will be a story, coloring sheets, map work, and craft for each country.

Let's go on a trip to all the states of the USA and find out how special and unique each one is!

Skill Builders - Spanish 1
We will be working on reinforcing Spanish vocabulary and conversational skills. Providing focused practice to build students’ confidence. Each child will get their own workbook.

Music Foundations
In this class, students will be given a hands on learning experience on a quest to understand the fundamentals of reading music and the basics of rhythm.

An introductory course to learning some common German words and phrases, sprinkled with cultural discoveries.

Let's cover the globe and discover great countries, their cultures, traditions and cuisines!

Cartography
We will be learning the world by drawing one map at a time, tracing maps of world geography and labeling them.

Understanding matter & energy, forces & motion will be our focus for this science course. Hands on activities will help to reinforce memorization.

An introductory course to learning some common German words and phrases, sprinkled with cultural discoveries.

Creative Arts & Crafts
Students will be hands on while exploring the creative process, developing their artistic skills, and experiencing with a variety of art materials. Projects will vary from session to session and are planned to help students express themselves through their work.
Supplies: Please bring a paint shirt or apron to every class

Book Club
Class will begin with 15 minutes of devotional time - sharing scripture from the greatest book ever. The remaining 45 minutes will focus on reading and examining elements of a story (such as themes, setting, plot, conflict, characters, etc).The books are Julie of the Wolves and My Side of the Mountain, both by Jean Craighead George. Each student receives paperbacks and novel study guides. Students will be assigned reading selections and should complete the corresponding guide, which we will also review in class.
